About the Event
Join us for a 4-hour hands-on GPT Hackathon where you’ll build real solutions for real businesses. OpenAI will lead a mini session on how to build GPTs and share best practices.
This event is proudly hosted by Think Technologies, in collaboration with Bamboo Detroit and the AI Collective Detroit Chapter.
Expect a night of innovation, food, drinks, and plenty of networking. Whether you’re competing or attending, you’ll leave with new skills, new connections, and new ideas.
Participants will be judged on the use case of their GPT, with bonus points for Actions. While the focus is on small and mid-sized business (SMB) use cases, all innovative ideas are welcome.

Judging Criteria (100 Points Total)
Innovation & Creativity (30 pts): Unique and original use case
Practical Impact (25 pts): Real-world business or community value
Technical Execution (20 pts): Functionality and reliability
User Experience (15 pts): Ease of use and accessibility
Presentation & Clarity (10 pts): How clearly the idea is explained
Bonus: Actions can earn extra points across categories.
